In addition to the usual uses, I have found that it is great for treating cold sores. Better than any cold sore medicine I have tried. I have been using Vintage Tradition balms for over three years. I rub the balm into my skin as soon as I feel a cold sore coming on. I repeat about every few hours and the cold sore rarely develops.
